Thank you for taking the time to read the rules and conditions of Layfield's, by following them it assures the health and safety of both the anglers of the lake and the fish within it.
- The management reserves the right to withdraw any permit without stating a reason
- No responsibility is accepted for injury, loss of property or loss of life
- All cars unless previously agreed with management to be returned to the car park once unloaded
- All litter to be taken home
- No alcohol allowed on the fishery
- Anglers must have own Klin-iK anticeptic to apply to fish if and when necessary
- No rods to be left unattended in the water
- Fish may not be removed or introduced to the fishery
- All fish to be returned to the waters from which they were caught
- The lakes can be closed at any time N.B. due to weather or adverse conditions
- A maximum of 3 rods per syndicate member, 2 for day ticket holders (one environmental rod licence is required)
- Fish only from designated swims, keep to pathways and away from out of bounds areas
- Remember it is dangerous to leave children unattended near the lakes
- Tilley lamps are not allowed. If required a small well shielded lamp may be used
- Dogs, boats, fires, swimming or unruly behaviour will not be permitted
- Entertainment such as DVD players, radios etc. must be at a low volume (so only you can hear it)
- Any infringement of the rules of this fishery are to be reported to the bailiff or management.
ALL ANGLERS ARE TO COMPLY WITH THE RULES OF THE LAKE:
- Manufactured BARBLESS hook only, except microbarbed sizes 18, 20, 22, 24 and 26
- NO bent hook rigs, NO fixed bolt rigs, NO shock leaders
- NO lead core over one metre in length, No beachcaster rigs
- NO braided mainlines
- All nets, mats and weigh slings to be dipped in tanks provided
- NO carp sacks
- Carp unhooking mats must be used at all times (provided if necessary)
- Keep nets only used for silver fish, NO carp!
- No cereal groundbaiting - loose feed only. Floating baits in moderation and not left in swim
- Particle baits are banned, except loose fed sweetcorn, hemp, wheat and carp pellets
- NO trout pellets
- NO entry to the fishery during hours of darkness.
